Business Systems Analyst
Oak Brook, IL 60523

There is a position in the U.S. Controller's Group providing business-side support of McDonald's Oracle eBusiness Suite (MBS) and other related financial systems. This position will also assist MBS Support with business-related break/fix information or follow-up as required. Ability to work on other systems support projects as needed.

Responsibilities:

•Eliciting enhancement requests and documenting business requirements
•Reporting on status of requests, communication, and general business-side support related to Oracle eBusiness Suite and related systems for McDonald's SpendSmart (procurement) team.
•Documenting business needs, writing narratives and requirements documents, capturing screen-shots, and analyzing alternative solutions
•Assist in, prioritizing and reporting on enhancement requests
•Ensuring that I/S deliverables are meeting the business customer due dates and priorities.
•Work with different business groups to identify and prioritize enhancements with the ability to clearly and concisely describe them at MBS task force meetings.
•Create and execute test plans
•Working with third party vendors to support SpendSmart group
•Provide Level 2 support of SpendSmart application
•Ability to clearly articulate the business reasons for enhancement requests
•Assisting in developing business cases where needed
•Ability to identify business and project risks and develop mitigating strategies
•Presenting updates on project progress, problems and solutions
•Implementing and managing project change requests and work effectively with IT/MBS Support to help ensure enhancements meet requirements
•Quality assurance of MBS enhancements and documentation
•Monitoring data back-feeds and data processing as required ensuring correct processing of data
Experience:
Minimum requirements for position:

•Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Accounting, or Finance
•5 to 10 Years of relevant business experience
•Outstanding analytical, problem solving, and organizational skills
•Excellent communication skills
•Ability to drive towards completion dates independently
•Ability to negotiate, handle conflicting groups and drive towards consensus
•Experience working with business areas and other non-technical groups, translating requests into requirements

Preferred:
•CPA/MBA would be a plus
•3-5 years of hands-on experience with Oracle eBusiness Suite (EBS) preferred
•Experience with Oracle iProcurement a plus
