Essay Instructions: This is for a one credit hour, online class I took this semester. When I printed off the syllabus, not all of the pages printed off and I did not know there was a paper due. I am finding out this morning and have 11 days to turn this in. It is due on December 1. I am not able to fit this in to my busy schedule as a single mom running my own business, with the holiday next week. Here are the specs...
? This paper needs to be done in APA format, and at least 6 pages (three pages of content with title page, abstract and reference=6 pages.)
? Graphics or charts do not count toward your six pages.
? Grading for this paper will be 50% spelling, grammar and formatting and 50% original content and quality of work.
? For instance if your paper is well thought out but does not follow APA format and is full of spelling errors, your grade will be less than if you followed the requirements. Likewise, if you submit a correctly formatted paper that does not meet the three page requirement and has no acceptably sited sources, you will not receive as high of a grade as if you followed the requirements.
? You need to have two references that are credible and site able (i.e. no Wikipedia.)
? This is due by December 1st and should be submitted through Safe Assign here on Blackboard.
? Since this is fifty percent of your grade, you must turn in a paper to complete the course. Work received after December 1st will receive half credit. For example, if you would have received an 80%, you would receive a 40% due to it being late.
? You may choose from one of two themes for your paper: Do you (the student) agree with the Kubler-Ross theory of grieving and if NOT, why; or Do you feel it is necessary to move through all the stages of the grieving process in order to achieve healing and/or closure? Defend your position.
? This assignment may be turned in earlier than the December 1st deadline if you complete it.
