4. Evaluate how the refusal of the federal government’s “Bail Out” fund may have impacted Ford’s financial performance negatively and positively.
5. Use three (3) external sources as part of your assignment.

Essay Instructions: Ford Motor Company has contacted you, a marketing consultant, because it is interested in developing new approaches to selling its products. Historically, the decision to purchase a vehicle has been seen as a male-dominated decision. The company is no longer comfortable using this framework and is asking you to help them develop a new marketing plan.

Your job is to develop a marketing plan for the company that will help Ford tap new customers. You may consider both domestic and international markets. You need to provide a brief description of how you developed your plan (what information you used, what marketing concepts -- e.g. lifestyle categories -- were most relevant), a description of the plan and how it should be implemented.
