- Describe the social issue. Take your social issue through the stages of a social movement: 1.) initial unrest 2.) resource mobilization 3.) organization 4.) Institutionalization 5.) Organizational decline or resurgence

- Discuss how the three sociological perspectives viewed this issue. (Symbolic, Functionalist, & Conflict)

- Discuss propaganda utilized during the social movement.

- How this social issue has affected at least four other social institutions. (Family, Medical, Science, Education, Religion, Government)

- Discuss what type of social movement this was. (alternative, redemptive, reformative, transformative)

- What is the current status of your chosen social issue?

- Paper must be double spaced, 12 font, and 7-9 pages in length.
