Essay Instructions: I'm going to send you two articles. One is about Sense of place Locals & Tourist in Switzerland. The other is sense of place in the mountains of West Ireland. The professor had us read the Swiss paper first and then wanted us to research an article about the same thing in the country of our study. Mine country is Ireland. I basically need a 4 page paper over the Ireland article on what this area (West Ireland) means to the locals and government. Both have different view points of the same location and what should be done with it. Also you have to use the Swiss paper in the Ireland paper as a reference. Use similarities you see in both (but don't do a compare and contrast of both papers). Use some of the keywords in the Swiss paper it's on page one. Because we are not born with common sense, and also because Clifford Geertz describes common sense as "a relatively organized body of thought, rather than just what anyone clothed and his right mind knows", I have come to the conclusion that common sense is shaped by the society, culture we live in. I agree with Geertz on how intersexuality does not only confuses the biological science scene but also communities because the common sense is generally taught to categorize sexuality into two: "maleness and femaleness".
