***The first things I need are chapters 1 and 2 by April 12, 3008. After that we can take time and do the rest in a longer period of time. I will email immediately following this what Chapters 1 and 2 generally include for my school….of course you may know other things that I don’t!

I have paid for 75 pages to see how far that gets me along with the other included pages. For the initial chapters 1 and 2 I do not have specific specification on how long they must be at this time, so please just use your best judgement there without obviously being wasteful of my pages :)

Essay Instructions: Compose a rough first draft of your comparison essay on public and private schools in regards to kids educations. In the essay, you are expected to use one of the methods of development(one side at a time or point by point). Before writing the draft, engage in a prewriting activity and use the techniques for drafting.draft can be rough; however, it must meet the following requirements:

§ Your ideas must be in paragraph form.

§ Write the draft as either a comparison between two things.

CONDUCTING A PUBLIC OPINION POLL RESEARCH PROJECT DESCRIPTION:


Create your own public opinion poll. Develop a short questionnaire to collect data related to public opinion on the subject of “government support for private education (grades K-12).”
First, conduct some research to explore what programs are funded in private educational institutions, how they get funded, and what isn’t funded. Then construct a poll to find out if public opinion thinks this funding is fair.

Choose at least six adults to complete your questionnaire. Your poll should address public opinion related to the following topics:

* The government providing grants and aid to private schools
* Parents who choose to send their children to private schools receiving tax breaks
* Students who attend private schools receiving educational services from public schools
* Students who attend private schools participating in extracurricular activities in the public school system

Also, collect information about WHY your subjects have the views that they do on these topics as well as any solutions they can to suggest that could provide fairer funding for students attending private educational institutions.

Then, summarize your subject’s opinions, and include your opinion on the subject as well. Your final summary should be at least FOUR well-developed paragraphs in length. Also submit your questionnaire to your teacher.
