Essay Instructions: Media Reaction Paper.

Write a 1,050-1,400 word reaction to a media piece focusing on immigration (can be article, video, audio, TV, movie, book or documentary)
Research the issue and address the historical framework and political context.
What message does the media piece try to portray? Is it biased? Was is sensationalized or objective?
How might the media coverage affect public perception of the issue? Does it encourage prejudice, stereotyping and discrimination?
How might the issue affect US economy and labor force?
If you were a manager affected by this issue and its media coverage, what inclusion strategies from this week?s readings might you implement to moderate the media?s effect on your employees and promote inclusion in the workplace?
