For this assignment, you are to compare an issue of ESPN the Magazine and Sports Illustrated; or Spin and Rolling Stone; (buy, borrow or go to a bookstore/ library to look at them) from this semester. Type responses to the following questions (maximum length " 3 pages):

1. What do you see as the most significant differences between the content, style and look of these two magazines? Provide specific examples from the magazines (properly citing the material you use).

2. Based on the editorial and advertising content of each magazine, how would you describe its readers demographically (age, income, race, etc.) and psycho-graphically (interests, values, hobbies, etc.)? Are these magazines competing for the same reader? Or might different people be reading each of them? Explain your reasoning with evidence from the magazines.

3. Try to sum up the editorial mission of each of these magazines, and explain how that mission is accomplished in its pages.

Conclusion 1/2 -1 page --- States the main differences between a women's magazines and men's one using the above information. What do these magazines have in common? How would a fashion forcaster use this information? Which magazine do you think it's better?

When trying to establish the NAICS code for your businesses by using the product or services offered as a descriptor, we had some difficulties trying to find those industries that were correct. What were those difficulties specifically? (10 points) What do the specific difficulties around establishing our businesses within the NAICS system tell us about our own limitations about how we define and think about our products and services? Or, asked another way, why is it good for us to have to struggle with descriptors to find where we belong in our industrial system? (25 points)
