Instructions for Innovation College Essay Examples

Essay Instructions: Innovation Ethic: Reading the chapter 4 attachment from John Sarno's book "Perils of Prosperity" answer the question with a detailed analysis.

Even while corporations strive to leverage their knowledge assets, most gove innovation lip service, only to rely on more command and control structures to get results. In contrast firms that want to maximize the fullest potential of their knowledge workers must have effective colloborative environments (the best work is produced by means of teamwork, not by individual careerists), sharing information (knowledge workers are listened to, trusted, and know whats going on) loose hiearchies, (managers serve staff and not dominate them) and devolution of decision making (knowledge workers are trusted and trained to make decisions where the value is created - at the frontline).

Question: Is there an innovation ethic and if so, how is it different from merely being paid to do a job?

Essay Instructions: Innovation and Pricing

Look at the way online music Web sites changed the way music is purchased; it is an excellent example of how pricing schemes can be changed to meet new realities. Personal music players have become very popular, even though MP3s had been around for years prior to the release of personal music players. This changed the industry price metric from CD to song in a time when music sales were declining.
