"This study hypothesizes that individuals will be faster at recognizing the written expression of Happy emotion than the recognition of the Happy facial expression of emotion"

here are my results
Descriptive statistics performed on response time for facial and written word expressions from for each type of emotion (i.e., fear, happy, and sad). {Next, differences in time were calculated by subtracting the word time from the facial expression time. For almost all of the participants in the study, they recognized words faster than facial expression.
Next, mean scores for each condition and emotion were charted. participants recognized words faster than facial expression. Finally, paired samples t-test were conducted to examine whether there were significant differences in facial expressions and written word for each type of emotions (i.e., fear, happy, and sad). The paired samples t-test indicated that word recognition was significantly faster than facial recognition for all three emotions: fear (t = 4.83, p < .001), and happy (t = 5.08, p < .001), and sad (t = 10.42, , p < .001).
