As well as specific women in history such as: Susan B. Anthony, Elizabeth Cady Stanton, Carrie Chapman Catt, Lucretia Mott, etc. The paper should emphasize women''s fight to vote and how successful they were. My thesis statement would be something like this: "American women have toiled long and hard to secure a voice in the United States Government; and through much effort, women and women''s groups have worked to gain freedom in the same areas as men."
