The main source of information for this TMA is Chapter 1 of 'Exploring social lives', (Bromley .S, Clarke, J., Hinchcliffe, S. and Taylor, S. Milton Keynes, The open university)

Chapter 1 begins by defining what an 'economy' is and how the UK economy can be characterised. Section 2 examines the relationship between economic change and the environment while section 3 examines the relationship between economic changes and happiness and well-being. Issues of definition and measurement are also examined in this chapter.

You are asked to provide a report that shows the connections between economic growth, wealth, health and happiness; to provide relevant examples, illustrations and case studies; and to select and use different forms of of evidence.
