With spiders, the venom they inject into their prey liquefies the insect (or whatever) and the arachnid is then able to drink its dinner. They do have teeth sufficient to inject venom or, in the case of mites and ticks, to break the skin and get to the blood supply.

Nymph is basically a smaller version of an adult - primary difference being no wings. You can distinguish them from complete metamorphosis critters because usually the larval stage of complete metamorphosis looks NOTHING like the adult stage
