Essay Instructions: Research paper guidelines:

The research paper must be in an argumentative research paper. Please present my position on the subject of "why religion should be put back into public school." Please include the history of religion in schools, the present policies of religion in the school system,if taking religion out of the schools could be a contributor to the lower moral standards of children today and any other valid points to support religion in schools. Also, please add any alternatives to those who wish for religion not be included in the school system.

State at least 2 arguments or opinions that don?t necessarily agree with mine and include dialogue among those that differ from my perspectives and opinions, along with why their opinions should not keep religion out of the schools.
Comparison and contrast can be used to support their ideas and/or mine.
Classification style of writing can also be used if needed.

A thesis statement must be written within the introduction and the final paragraph must reflect back on the thesis statement.

The paper must be 10 pages long and be written in MLA format. Please number all pages, after page 1.

The paper must cite at least 5 sources: 1 can be an internet site, 2 must be from academic articles or books.

Essay Instructions: I need a 5 page research essay that uses the method of Argument and Persuasion. There must be at least 3 research sources with in text citations. I am in a writing 101 class and you can either pick a topic yourself or I was thinking about maybe Religion in school and the benefit it could bring back to society, or no matter how much money you have, money doesn't make you happy, or maybe bullies should be kicked out of school.

Essay Instructions: minumum of 6 pages plus a bibliography. must cite source for each quotation and for statistical data.

Must reference at least four (4) sources, one of which cannot be found on the internet.

Paper: Role play being an advisor to a chief elected official in New York (governor or county executive). The paper is your report to the chief elected official. Identify and explain to your boss a problem or state and local government that needs to be solved, provide background on the issue (history, nature of problem) and then lay out various perspectives on the issue, and the strengths and weaknesses of each proposed solution. Do not give your opinion or make a recommendation.

Alternative: You can propose a new law, setting forth the need for the law, the rationale, any possible consequences, and how this has worked in another location.
