Essay Instructions: It is an analysis essay about existential themes in literature. It requires only analysis and NOT plot summary. It can analyze the existential problems of only one or more characters of the movie "Pulp Fiction".

The seven main existential themes are:
- Individual vs the herd
- free will vs responsibility
-existential journey
-authentic vs inauthentic
- existential anxiety, dread
- dark knight of the soul
- concept of the absurdness

I will upload a sample analysis paper of a story but note that it should be different since this is a movie analysis.

The first paragraph should be a list of the plot segment of Pulp Fiction in chronological (story) order. Than in paragraph form the rest of the essay should answer ALL of the following questions:

2) Does Pulp Fiction follow the Freytag's Pyramid model from the book Looking at movies?

- ORDER- structure of the plot
- HUBS- major events or branching points in the plot structure that force the characteristics to choose between or among alternative paths
-SATELLITES- minor plot events
- REPETITION- number of times a story element recurs
