Title: Global Accounting Standards

Total Pages: 13 Words: 4564 Works Cited: 20 Citation Style: Harvard Document Type: Research Paper

Essay Instructions: The task is to write a 4000 words report about Global Accounting Standards. This report is the final exam for the International Accounting Class which is part of the Master of International Business Management studies.
The task is as follows:

The world is getting smaller as global standards are set for everyone. This is evident everywhere, no more so than in the development of international accounting standards. The automatic response to a gap in a GAAP is to as for more GAAP.

Question?
Can one size fit all when it comes to global accounting standards? Whit the aid of examples, critically discuss the issues raised in the question for the various key players in the international accounting/ reporting arena.

Note: Clarity is needed for all types of KEY PLAYERS (Preparers, users, regulators etc) in coming to terms with the potential ramifications of IAS (International Accounting Standards)/ IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards).
You will also need to think about the pros and cons of having one global accounting standard for:

A range of enterprises (listed vs unlisted companies, large vs medium sized vs small companies, domestic vs international ones, public vs private firms, profit making vs charitable organizations, partnerships, sole traders, etc.)

Different accounting models (anglo-saxon, continental, inflation adjusted, mixed economy, Islamic, communistic, etc)

Consideration of alternative approaches and the synthesis of ideas and theory is expected. A descriptive approach is to be avoided. It will be useful to make explicit your view on the roles of international accounting and accounting standards before you develop your ideas.
Please do not reproduce long list of IAS/IFRS with copious technical notes in your answer.

In writing up your work, there will need to be evidence of wider reading material (both in the main body and bibliography) other than those provided in the lecture handouts. All source material including bibliography must be clearly referenced in a consistent manner using the Harvard convention.

Title: religous theology Martin Luther and Immanuel Kant

Total Pages: 4 Words: 1430 Bibliography: 0 Citation Style: APA Document Type: Essay

Essay Instructions: In a unified, coherent and well-developed paper of 4 pages, please compare and contrast the understandings of freedom developed by Martin Luther and Immanuel Kant.

you should establish the unity of the paper by means of a clear, concise thesis (very important!!!!!!!). you should establish the coherece of your paper by means of a logically structured argument in support of that thesis, and you should base the development of that argument in substantial quotation!!!!!!!!!!! from the analysis of Luther''s "preface to the epistle of st. paul to te Romans and Kant''s "an answer to the question: what is enlightenment

i have provided you with all the materials that are necessary. i have faxed over martin luther''s essay as well as kant''s.

the essays are not difficult to understand but they must be read to formulate the paper.

please do not use any outside sources whatsoever. they will not be accepted.

"succesSful paper will be free of errors in grammar, syntax, punctuation and spelling. you may use any system of citation you choose , so long as it is thorough , clearand consistent.

some basic guidelines......

4 pages
double spaced
1 inch margins
12 point font

in comparing and contrasting the different Views of freedom please do not state all of luthers points of view and then kants separatly.
they must be intertwined so if both believe in faith as a contributing factor please state both of their oppinions when discussing faith

i think it would be pretty hElpful to make a chart of luthars views and kants views comparing their beliefs on such things as ..the basic problem for both of their views
for luthar discuss sin, law, faith, grace, and good works

for kANT ADDRESS IMMATURITY , SELF RELIANCE, CIVAL VS INTELLECTUAL SPHERES. PUBLIC VS PRIVATE...ETC..

ANY BACKGROUND ON THE AUTHORS LIFE IS NOT RELEVANT , STRICLY KEEP IT TO DISCUSSING THE VIEWS PERTAINING TO FREEDOM, IT MAY EVEN BE HELPFUL TO START WITH A SHORT INTRO AND RIGHT INTO THE THESIS SO AS TO MAKE OBVIOUS THE THSIS OF THE PAPER.

PLEASE USE A LOT OF QUOTATIONS , ITS THE ONLY WAY TO BACK UP YOUR POINTS , SO MY TEACHER SAYS

THE WORKS CITED PAGE SHOULD LIST THE TWO ESSAYS I HAVE FAXED ONLY

THANK YOU SO MUCH , HOPE IT COMES EASY FOR YOU
