Here are the questions for the paper...

1. Martin Luther (an ex-priest in the Catholic Church!) once said, "In order to be truly free, one must be properly enslaved." Evaluate this statement using your knowledge of the Catholic Tradition. (And please don?t get Martin Luther confused with Martin Luther King!!!!)

2. What is the Catholic Tradition?s view of Original Sin? Does this view still have relevance today? Why or why not?

3. Why has the Church ruled and maintained the ruling that only men may serve as priests? Should this practice continue, or should it change? Why?

Essay Instructions: Declaration of the Rights of Women was written as a reaction to the Declaration of the Rights of Man, need to discuss points from each that clarifies this statement and how they encompass Englightenment thought.(3 pages)

Enlightenment optimism generally rejected the ideas that human nature is flawed by original sin and this is prone to evil in error. Instead, thinkers of the age posited infinite perfectability for human beings, who, we held to be naturally good and reasonable. what is the view of human nature? Which conception does history and common experience tend to support.(1 page)
