Essay topic: By analysing specific imagery and/or sensory descriptions in Keats's "Ode on a Grecian Urn," explain what the poem implies about the human experience of art.



I need an essay that is very precise,clear and organized. In the introduction, the essay must contain the clear thesis statement with a very interesting opening. I also need at least three points of arguements in the body paragraphs. The length of the introduction and conclusion should be about the same.

*It is preferable if the Metropolitan Museum of Art in NYC is chosen, and you are able to find someone else's experience about an exhibit within the museum, and directly relate it to the analysis of the poem at hand.

In the essay, be sure to include:

4.The paper should provide a clear argument, but you can write it as a personal narrative essay.

*Make sure to write an introduction which identifies texts and authors and sets the context for the reader. End the introduction with a thesis statement. In the body of the essay, justify the thesis by drawing on specific examples.

INSTRUCTIONS
Closely examine the work of John Keats. The primary goal for the report is to look at a particular work "Ode on a Grecian Urn". This will require a careful analysis of the poem but, also a discussion to familiarize readers of this research paper with some of the key styles, situations, and themes that are common to Keats' work in general.

Research report MUST include the following:
1. A description of the key themes common to a number of Keats? works
2. An analysis of "Ode on a Grecian Urn" by Keats
3. A discussion of how the poem "Ode on a Grecian Urn" reflects the key themes found in some of Keats? other poetry
4. The use and proper documentation of sources that support your description, analysis, and discussion
5. Must use at least five sources from the list at the bottom of this page. Also, the sources must be used in a supporting manner, not as the basis of the essay?s main idea
6. Use the MLA Style of Documentation

In order to properly accomplish this Report, it is required to research John Keats? life and literary background. MUST CREATE A CLEAR THESIS STATEMENT. In the past, for similar Research Papers, I have begun with history/biography about the author/poet and then began incorporating their work in the order they were published-- adding critic reviews. Usually I can use these specific works to compare key themes. I normally prefer to end with author's most significant poem-- in this case, "Ode on a Grecian Urn". The analysis of this specific poem should have the most detail. Obviously the conclusion must be strong and summarize effectively.
