Background:
The purpose of this paper is to introduce the student to professional issues that impact occupational therapy practice.

Instructions:
1. Locate at least two (2) articles in the occupational therapy literature. Articles may NOT be from aota.org or another website. Articles must be located in legitimate peer-reviewed journals/periodicals. Each article must be more than 2 pages in length.
2. Write a summary of the articles using a compare and contrast format.
a. What was similar in the articles?
b. What was different about the articles?
c. Did they support occupational therapy? How?
d. Could an occupational therapy student utilize all the information provided in the
articles for future practice? How?
3. Summary must be in own words (no copying/plagerism)
4. Minimum of 3 pages, double-spaced, 12 point font, Microsoft Word (not Microsoft
