From fuel cell technology to metallurgy to oil refinement, I find that a significant portion of the future of humanity lies in this field. I have been interested in chemical engineering since I read about the Manhattan Project in the United States in the 1940s, which is a scientific project that changed the world dramatically. I entered college and went on to study chemical engineering, growing both my interest in the field as well as my knowledge and technical ability.
