By means of this Act the California workers have been guaranteed that they would have the rights to attain orientation training from the employer in relation to the workplace hazards and the rights of the labor force. They might request for the necessary information in relation to the injuries and illnesses in the workplace. Also information on hazardous substances in the workplace like material safety data records could also be requested.
