Since Salem State University does not have to compete with an Ivey league type of status then their organization is going to be a little less rigid than Harvard would be.

Differences affecting the student's educational experiences would be hard to say. Actually, it would depend on the student and what they are trying to get out of their college life. Rather it is Ivey League or not in the end they are receiving legitimate education. However, it could have an effect after graduation when it comes down to job hunting. It is possible with Harvard written on one application and Salem State University written on the other that employees could grab towards that brand.
