Moreover, "Command sergeant majors have the task of upholding military customs and traditions," which means that I would have the honor of receiving due respect for the U.S. Army traditions and process that make my personal and professional goals a reality. Without the existence of the Army, and the hierarchial process that I can work upward to gain responsibility, financial security, and greater self-confidence, I do not think that I would have the passion and determination in life that I do today.
