Books and articles both available, almost all from vetted scholarly sources that provide peer reviews as well as a broad scope. One weakness is in dating, typically, questia does not upload the most current (e.g. 12-18 months) articles. However, the search engine is quite powerful, and allows for Boolean searches through books, journals, newspapers, and magazines. The search parameters also allow interesting comparisons to be made between historical topics, like Simon Bolivar, and the current political culture of the region.
