Assignment format:

The paper should have proper formatting and should adhere to APA writing standards. The assignment should also be double spaced using 1” margin all around, 12 point font with a Times New Roman writing style. A separate bibliography with at least 3 scholarly sources and proper formated citations is required.


At a minimum you must cover each of the four areas. The core investments of the funds should discuss the different types of areas that your particular funds invests, expample, 30% bonds, 40% International Stocks, 20% large cap, etc. Each mutual fund will provide you this information. Need a minimum of 5 years historical returns. This means that you need to select a mutual fund that has been around for at least five years can provide you a minimum of 5 years return. You also need to examine the particular fund in relationship to other competitors. Research other companies and how your fund ranks in the market. The risk and return section analysis is explained above.

Essay Instructions: The assignment is to write a memo on the SEC's rule on disclosure for mutual funds (see this site for more info: http://www.sec.gov/news/press/2008/2008-275.htm) and offer Citigroup advice about how best to address the problem of complying with that rule, and avoiding/addressing government enforcement actions, lawsuits, or investigations directed against it.
