Here is the question.

The era of World War I and the 1920s had an enoumous impact on American life. Although the war the peace affected all Americans, how did the period from 1917 to 1929 especially impact MINORITIES (defined as everybody other than middle class and wealthy white males) in America? Were the fruits of the war to make the world safe for democracy and the prosperous and dymanic 20s equally shared by all Americans? How did those on the fringes of American life respond to the challenges and problems of the era?

Once again, any pertinent web sites you might find on your own relevant to this topic would be well worth mentioning (Hint: there have been quite a few programs on PBS at
http://www.pbs.org on American history and life in this era. Not a bad place to start looking for ideas).
