The United States is now a salad bowl: Even though some people think that immigrates never lost their identity, during early immigration, divisions or people had to give up their identity in order to fit in the American mold (Melting pot). The recognition and capitalizing of diversity has help melt the melting pot and helped shape today?s United States (Salad Bowl).
