For example, if the legal issue in the case is "Was Jones' First Amendment right to free speech violated?", then the decision section should respond to that question with what the court decided as to that issue. Use the names of the parties ("State of Michigan" "United States", "Smith", "Jones") in your briefs, not "respondent" or "appellant" or "plaintiff" or "defendant".
