Essay Instructions: I would like a paper written that supports a stated thesis that the current legal drinking age in the United States should stay at age 21. I need at least 5 sources cited, and the sources should be a variety of book,magazine,and newspaper. Be limited on using internet sources, I want no more than two internet sources in the cited sources.I want good supporting evidence(such as statistics,research, and studies) on why the drinking age should stay at 21.Some good topics to use in your argument may be things such as alcohol related car accidents, people getting hospitalized, the purchasing of fake ID's etc... The conclusion should give readers a sense of completion, and should reinforce the thesis statement that was in the introduction. Since it is MLA format, on the first page, in the upper-left hand corner should be my name(first then last),then on the line right beneath it the professors name(Mulvey),below that the course title(English 110 Section 35), and the date(May 3, 2003). Also, the pages need to be numbered in the upper right hand corner of each page with my last name and the page number for example(Sargalski 1) Make sure not to plagiarize, you do not however need to document common knowlegde, or your own ideas. There should be 3 main points that you are arguing for which ties in with the thesis on why the drinking age should remain at age 21. To recap, I want an introduction that includes the thesis statement, the body, which will support the thesis statement, using summaries, paraphrases, and quotations from the sources, as well as with your own ideas and opinions.
