The scholarly critique is a basic writing task requiring students to analyze, summarize, and evaluate a source. The basic structure for critiques/reviews incorporates the following: introduction, summary, critique, conclusions, and references. Headings are recommended but not required. To complete this assignment, select a scholarly article on one of the following topics:
1. Neuropsychological Patterns of Learning
2. Hereditary Patterns of Learning
3. Information ?" Processing Patterns

In a critique of 1,250-1,500 words, analyze and evaluate an article regarding the patterns of learners with respect to brain differences; heritability factors specific to learners with learning disabilities; patterns of visual perception, language, and phonological processing skills, attention, and motor skills in learning disabilities.
Use concise facts that explore typical and poor learners; the effects of brain injuries and differences; or facts analyzing hereditary factors that explore learning disabilities, intelligence, handedness, biochemical irregularities, and attention deficit hyperactivity disorders. In the critique, defend your point while addressing the following questions: How? Why? How well?

Include a summary of your argument and restate your opinion. Also include an objective and purpose for the study; review the methodology used in relation to the study and review the results in comparison to the objective and purpose. Shortcomings must be addressed as well as future implications.
Prepare this assignment according to the APA guidelines found in the APA Style Guide, located in the Student Success Center.

The first paragraph will include a "hook" and your "thesis statement", which will relate to the 4 Research Articles you selected. Your last paragraph must include a conclusion that is congruent to your first paragraph. The last page must list the sources used in an APA "References" format. Research articles must be attached to the end of your report.

3.Teacher perspective and research on how they may help.
4.Child perspective and research on how they may help themselves and self advocate. What they are going through.
5. Reflective conclusion (not first person) and summary. How this research may help a new teacher when working with a child with a learning disability. Conclusion should be the "heart" of this paper.
