Essay Instructions: I need an essay on Martin luther kings 3 types of resitance to oppression comparing it to the movie iron jawed angels.

Throughout history, humans have been cruel to one another. The power of authority has often been unjustly used. As a result, people have been discriminated against, persecuted for their beliefs, and made to feel less than human. In his speech titled, ?Three Types of Resistance to Oppression,? King offers three different ways of dealing with these injustices. In the movie, Iron Jawed Angels, all three types of resistance are displayed, mostly by the oppressed, but sometimes by the oppressor. Using King?s essay as a base and evidence from the movie Iron Jawed Angels, write an essay that explains each definition of King?s ?three types of resistance?.

Essay Requirements:
1. Before you begin, list King?s three types of resistance.
2. Brainstorm examples of how the source displays each type of resistance.
3. Based on your findings, decide what order your will present each definition and the supporting examples.
4. Create an outline that loosely follows the ?Basic Outline Format.?
5. Write an introduction that gives background information on King and his cause.
6. Include a thesis statement (and an essay map) that explains exactly what the reader can expect from your essay at the end of the introduction paragraph.
7. In the body paragraphs, provide 2 or 3 examples to help explain each type of resistance and include your own explanation.
8. The conclusion should provide a reflection on the subject, not a restatement of the essay.
9. After writing your essay, be sure to spell check, grammar check, and proofread.
10. The essay must be 3-5 pages in length.
11. Be sure to stay objective. (Do not use I, me, we, us, myself, ourselves, etc)

There are faxes for this order.
