Use third person point of view. Write in present tense.

The paper should analyze the most significant similarities and differences between the two.
Address themes, speakers/tones, use of language, or other poetic elements (personification, metaphor...etc).
Rather than covering too much, develop and support a focused thesis that enables the ability to limit critial analysis to major similarities and differences.
Paper should not include more than a few sentences of biographical information.
Include short quotes from both poems.
Analysis of the two poems should be knowledgeable and free of mechanical/structural errors.
This paper is to comparing and contrasting poems.
Watch for word choices and avoid redundancy.
