you are to write a review that covers the basics of how a forensic anthropologist performs a trauma assessment. In this review you should consider how the major categories of trauma are manefested in the human skeleton (must include blunt force, sharp weapon and projectile). you should also cnsider the distinction between antemortem, perimortem and postmortem trauma and why this is an important issue in a forensic investigation.

- Form (anatomy) can help indicate the function (purpose) of a particular builing
ex. Fossil in limestone
- a lot of characteristic of reptile, but had feather-like impressions

ex. Archaeopteryx- Ancient Bird
- many reptilian characteristics Ex. teeth, long tailbone
- bird-like characteristucs ex. feathers

- had asymmetrical feathers (correlation related to function)
