Essay Instructions: The question will explore whether religion and modern science are compatible based on the course readings for 2/29 and 3/7. To write this paper you must follow the below instructions:
The paper must be divided up into bold titled sections. Put the bold section title on the left margin.
Section 1 is your introductory paragraph. It should identify whether you are writing on either Galileo or Darwin and end with a thesis statement that articulates your persepective on whether the views of Galileo are compatible with Christianity.

In section 3, you will explain what you think the message of Genisis 1-2 is. Do not spend more then one page on this.
In section 4, you will make an argument either that Galileo idea in section 2 is compatible with Religion/Christianity or it is not. Make your argument a strong one. State it with conviction. At the same time, nuance impresses the reader.
Section 5 is your conclusion. Begin the conclusion with your thesis statement; then recount the reasons you provided in your paper that developed and supported your thesis.
