First describe fully, but briefly, the sources of Shari'a (based on pages 118-124 of the Oxford History). Then discuss the role of human reasoning in the construction of Islamic law. You should pay particular attention to the notion of qiyas and ijtihad. Your complete assignment should remain within the three-page limit (up to 900 words).
