Essay Instructions: Your persuasive paper should be based on a single management theory, concept, or practice that may be applied within the fire science field. Your task is to persuade the reader to adopt this theory, concept, or practice. This article must end with a recommendation that makes a meaningful statement toward persuading the reader to adopt the author?s viewpoint.

Begin each proposal with a two or three paragraph narrative that describes your topic. Complete the proposal by providing a brief description of each part of the report you plan to produce. Each narrative must include the reason(s) for choosing this particular topic (why it is of interest to the industry and to you). You must also include a brief description of the theories, concepts, and/or practices to be included in the body of each review article and a statement that summarizes your intended conclusion or recommendation (this is a nice opportunity to use level 3 headings).This proposal must ?organize? your descriptive or persuasive report in a logical manner that will provide complete coverage of the topic. This assignment could profiel an important individual in the fire service, decsribe a way of doing something, or describe virtually anything that requires you to research and write about a topic. The paper must end with a conclusion that makes a meaningful statement about the subjects that are compared.

Essay Instructions: I have worked in the field of firefighting for the past 30 years. I am getting close to retirement age and the city has come out with a step increase if we have a minimum of the core classes in Fire Science, which would relate to a 1,200.00 per year raise. I contacted American Public University on using my life experience in firefighting and fire prevention to get credit for the core classes. I was told I had to write a 8 to 10 page essay on my experiences which would cover what I learned - posative and negative . When I learned it. How I can apply the learning. Attach a resume. I have already sent in to them all the certifications and certificates I have from over the years. I am 55 years old and quit school in the 9th grade to join the Navy. Once I got out of the Navy and started working , I realized how stupid it was to quit school so I went and finished my G.E.D. I ahve attended over 200 classes over the years on firefighting and fire prevention. I am currently certified as a Fire Inspector in the State of Michigan along with a certification of Training officer, Fire officer 3, Fire Investigator and a Licensed Private Investigator. All of these I have worked very hard to obtain and am very thankful to have. The biggest problem I have is writing a 8 to 10 page essay on my life and all I have done and learned over the past 40 years since I dropped out of school and jumped into the real world. I have never had any writing experience and wouldn''t know where to start and how to put the things on paper for what they ARE LOOKING FOR, I really need your services on this.
