1) Create a genogram of the family presented in the film. Include sex, approximate ages (if individuals are viewed across their lifetimes, include their oldest ages), and graphic representations of intergenerational ties and relationship quality. In addition, where appropriate, you may consider adding significant non-family relationships to the genogram. The genogram should be presented on a separate sheet of paper as an appendix to the paper. You may want to draw the genogram by hand if you do not feel comfortable with using technology to do so; either method is fine so long as it is readable. 2) In the main text of the paper, begin by describing, in detail, the major characters from the film and their relationships. Focus mainly on the family, but also include significant non-family relationships (e.g., an influential friend or colleague).

3) Describe the boundaries that exist within (among various subsystems) and around the family, and how these boundaries influence interactions within the family and individuals? interactions with their environment. Utilize terms presented in family systems theory as you describe these boundaries. It would be helpful if to provide definitions of terms before you provide examples from the film.
