  • Document Type: Essay
Essay Instructions: Hi,
To start thanks for taking the time to work on this custom paper. Here are the directions, research the "Enlightenment" particularly the French Philosophes to gain familiarity with Enlightenment beliefs, values, and principles. Read the US Constitution and analyze the language of the Constitution in view of the Enlightenment philosophy. Identify ways in which the Enlightenment impacted the American Constitution. Finally write the five page paper in MLA format discussing your research and analysis. The paper should include in-text citations to show the development of the topic so their should be a few on each page at least. Quotations aren't required on this so its up to you if you want to use them or not, whichever makes the paper look better. Please include the works cited page with the six sources. Internet sources are fine but should be a scholarly source and are limited to three. The other three must be some type of book related to the Enlightenment. That should be everything, thanks again and I look forward to seeing the finished paper.
