Racial profiling is a controversial investigation technique that is used by security and policing organizations around the world. It was thrust into the spotlight following the events of September 11, 2001 when terrorists bombed the World Trade Center in New York City.
Racial Profiling involves using race as one of the determinants of characterizing which types of people are more likely to commit certain types of crimes.
Research both sides of the racial profiling debate. . Be sure to include facts to support your opinion.

TIP.Stereotyping, prejudice, and discrimination are frequently confused, but they have different meanings. Prejudice is often based on stereotypes and discrimination is frequently the result of prejudices.
