Essay Instructions: Introduction
This module is ongoing and independent. You must allow at least 20 hrs of independent time to complete the research and written components. The focus of this assignment is for you to return to the Core component examination of the intermediate learner. This time you will analyze the adolescent and his / her needs and strategize successful methods for reaching this learner in the Visual Arts classroom.
The Task
Each course candidate will develop a profile of the Intermediate learner, basing their findings on the research of at least three independent theorists. The research will be produced as: a written essay, or as a power point or alternate presentation method with accompanying notes. Essays or notes should be approximately 2500 words.
The research will be written as a profile of the average Intermediate learner and the learner’s needs. The candidate will discuss the unique needs of the intermediate learner in today’s society, including the changing family dynamic, the focus on emerging technology, and how the intermediate learner now views his world and how he/she learns. The candidate will draw conclusions as to the best ways to engage this new intermediate learner.

You will cite the resources from which you attained your statistics in the APA format.

The profile of the learner includes insight gained from at least three theorists and a clear conclusive description has been concluded.
The specific needs of today’s learner have been accounted for.

There is clear evidence of research and knowledge of the needs of the intermediate learner of the new millennium and the method clearly describes the needs of today’s intermediate learners.
Relation to the regular Ministry documents, and or other statistical resources as to how learning can contribute to students’ lives and reflects the individual needs of the intermediate learner in today’s changing society have been addressed.
