Essay Instructions: The statement of purpose will provide an opportunity to explain any extenuating circumstances that you feel could add value to your application. You may also want to explain unique aspects of your academic background or valued experiences you may have had that relate to your academic discipline. The statement of purpose is not meant to be a listing of accomplishments in high school or a record of your participation in school-related activities. Rather, this is your opportunity to address the admission committee directly and to let us know more about you as an individual, in a manner that your transcripts and the other application information cannot convey.

MY detailed information
I am Japanese, and I am studying at UTSA. I applied for UT Austin,Natural Science, international transfer spring2005. I need essay for it.
The reason why I study at university is to get experiences such as research experiences, friends, professor, and group activity. The reason I study abroad is also to get more experiences by living the new place, and surrounded by different culture. Of course, I like the American educational system such as friendly and helpful professor, discussion, and presentation. I love discussion and presentation because I think it is important to think something and interesting to know what others are thinking. And it is helpful for me to memorize and connect the information.
However, I have much dissatisfaction about UTSA. The one of biggest grumble is the student in the University. My career goal is to be a researcher, so friends are extremely important to exchange information. In the big and good university like UT, I can find many a student who is future researcher, study hard and voracious science fan like me. Studying, researching and discussing scientific facts are like playing TV games for me. I do not feel tired, sleepy and hungry, and do not need any effort, just study and research for fun. Actually, I hate TV games,
Another reason is lecture. In UTSA, All lectures I attended are very slow to move, in which only basic component is talked. And the number of the class is small and all classes are basic. And many science professors can't speak English fluently. In UT, there are my interesting classes. I am by far the best score in most of my classes so far. I participate and get into discussion. I want the classes to be the place for check, review, discuss, and develop knowledge. Then, it can help me to create long time memory.
My GPA is 4.0. I was ranked in top 5 in 358 in my High school. I have grit. I never give up.
I thought the small university is good for getting the opportunities for research, which is one of the reason I first chose UTSA. However, the research programs are limited to US citizen. And the labs of the professors are filled with graduate, senior, and junior students. I did my best to get the chance. Then, I figured out it is so hard to get the opportunities in the University. The research experience is most important reason I go to University and came to US. I need research experience and I want to research.
My career goal is to be an immunologist. I am really interested in the relationship between microorganism and human beings because it is miraculous, mysterious, and incalculable world and voracious for me. I hope that the peaceful coexistence between pathogens and human is achieved in the future, without making the resistant, by detoxicating them without killing, researching about MHC, and so on and so forth. And these are what I want to research. I would like to work at bio-venture or some company, because I want to combat new kind of pathogens and contribute to increasing in the human health. Besides that, I want to exchange the knowledge with the colleagues to improve my skills and then open up my new careers. After that, I want to be a professor. Teaching what I experienced is also interesting and challenging.
To achieve the goal, I plan to get PhD in immunology in medical School to get the skills for the field. In fact, I want to Stanford University medical school. The fact that some of UT alumni are going to the medical school encourages me.
