Essay Instructions: My subject is Abraham Lincoln. What contribution did he make to American History? Need to utilize both print and internet sources. The paper needs to be no more than seven pages covering several points in the ORDER LISTED:
1. An analysis of the individual's most noteworthy accomplishment
2. aspects of the person's childhood, adolescence and young adulthood which positioned him for later achievements
3. the person's philosophy of life
4. an evaluation of the person in comparison with historical figures studied in this course (Ben Franklin, Abigail Adams, Thomas Jefferson, Benedict Arnold, Aaron Burr, Sam Houston, Theodore Roosevelt, Richard Nixon, Martin Luther King, Jr.

The paper must include citations for all direct quotations and a bibliography listing a minimum of six sources. At least two of the sources must be books.
