Pursue a Medical Degree?

As children, most of us don't think of becoming the next big television star. Plenty of us have dreams like I did, of saving the world like my favorite super hero. Most of us learn how difficult that is as we grow older, and turn our thoughts to other things, like a career, money, and fame and fortune. When it was my time to attend college, everyone around me knew I would become a banker or accountant. However, I was unable to choose a final career path, because nothing seemed right for me. How could I truly help someone as a banker: give them free checking? My heart was not in those careers.Instead, I chose to serve my country.

A graduated from the U.S. Merchant Marine Academy, and began serving my country on the USNS Arctic. At the time the world was in a state of chaos, the U.S. And Iraq were on the brink of war, and terrorism had become a worldwide fear. As a result, my vessels schedule was about to change….....
