Individuals who are on vegetarian diet tend to have more energy. When one consumes too much fat in his or her body (blood stream) the arteries will not open properly hence the muscles will not receive oxygen which is enough and this always makes an individual to feel zapped. Vegetarian diet also makes one avoid toxic chemicals. From the estimation of EPA nearly 95% of the pesticide residue within typical American diet originates from dairy products, fish and meat . Dairy products are associated with steroids as well as hormones, while fish tend to have carcinogen (DDT, PCBs) including heavy metals such as arsenic, mercury, cadmium and lead. These materials cannot be removed even through freezing or cooking. Consuming lots of vegetables shows that the body will be having much fiber; the fiber helps in pushing out waste from the body. On the other hand meat do not contain fiber and it can be realized that people who eat lower in the food chain will always have fewer cases of hemorrhoids and constipation.

Vegetarian diets are commonly linked to health advantages including lower risk of heart disease, lower blood cholesterol levels, lower hypertension and diabetes, lower level of blood pressure. They also enjoy lower body mass index as well as lower overall rates of cancer. These diets also provide lower saturated fat as well as cholesterol and contain higher level of magnesium, dietary fiber, potassium, folate, vitamin sC and E, carotenoids, other phytochemicals and flavonoids. Because of these nutritional differences on top of these numerous advantages, over meat and dairy diets, which one gets when is practicing vegetarian diets people are highly advised to practice vegetarian diet.
