There are a many great athletes in the world today. It is interesting to look at Tiger Woods' life and answer questions about his biography.

Beginnings

Eldrick Woods was born December 30, 1975, and was given the nickname "Tiger" in honor of a man who saved his father's life during the Vietnam War. Tiger grew up in home that is different from most people. His father is African-American and his mother is Thai.

Understanding Tiger

Reading about Tiger teaches that you should never let anyone or anything prevent you from achieving your goals. His parents had a major influence on his life by refusing to allow race determine how they lived their lives or prevent them from following their dreams.

One of the most interesting parts of Tiger Woods' biography is how he got started in sports. Before Tiger was one-year-old, he was introduced to golf. His father became interested in golf after leaving the military, and placed a net and piece of carpet in his garage to improve his swing.While he was practicing, Tiger watched from his highchair and developed a love for the game. He loved it so much that he threw a fit if his mother tried to take him inside to eat. She quickly learned to feed him in the garage and giving him a bite of food after each swing.

Watching his father play golf since he was a baby was a major event on Tiger's life, one which affected his entire future. I believe that if I am around a certain sport or activity all of my life, I will be interested in it and it could very easily affect my future, also.
