In addition, AIG companies are principal providers of life insurance and retirement services in the United States. Its products and services are divided into Individual products and Business products.

For instance, individual products include individual insurance such as accident and health. AIG covers damages resulting from accidents for example car wrecks, accidents arising from work, machinery and all other forms of accidental occurrences which may dismember a person insured or assured.Accidental Death and Dismemberment Insurance from AIG helps offset the financial burdens family's face in the event of injury or death in an accident.
