Modern trends keep changing and their length of time within the society depends on a lot of factors. Of most significance here is how these trends turn from oblivion into being trends. The contemporary society has a lot of idol worship. This comes in the form of people identifying a figure that they identify with and try to do things like them, this then pushes the emergence of trends.
