My six healthcare-related characteristics include: compassion (in the spirit of Indira Gandhi); patience; fortitude (in the face of the most heart-rending health crises); integrity; and an abiding faith and understanding of others' needs. I do enjoy people, I am eager to serve others, I do accept differences in others who are not like me, and also I pride myself in being firm with dignity when firmness is required. Co-dependence is a trap that I have always avoided, and there is no reason to believe at my age and with my experience that I would succumb to co-dependence now......
