III. a. With advancements in the motorcycle industry making motorcycles safer, motorcyclists are exposed to accidents to a lesser degree. Furthermore, even when they are involved in an accident, people who ride motorcycles containing the latest technology are less likely to experience the damage they would normally undergo. The Honda Gold Wing 2006 model is one of the best examples of technological advancements put in motorcycles, given that its airbag system is extremely important in protecting motorcyclists who experience a head-on collision (world.honda.com).

b. The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration promotes motorcycle safety through informing the general public (all kinds of motorists and even pedestrians) regarding motorcyclists and how they should not be discriminated. Through the NHTSA motorcycling program, authorities expect traffic accidents involving motorcyclists to be reduced (saferoads.org).

c. People have a tendency to categorize women as "bad drivers," generally considering gender to be important when concerning riding a motorcycle. This is however wrong, as accidents mainly happen as a result of the fact that riders are inexperienced, not because of their gender (whybike.
com).

IV. Motorcycling can be a fun activity if one performs it only consequent to getting riding lessons from a professional rider and only after the respective person acknowledges that he or she can never be completely in charge of the bike, with their only chance to avoid an accident being to employ all of their teachings in riding.
