Based on the findings from this module, it would make a great deal of sense to initiate a school-wide Positive Behavioral Support System (PBSS). It bears noting that while instructors felt that they were doing a positive job of supporting student needs and that the environment itself was generally positive, it was still difficult to instill proper interactive behaviors in the students.The PBSS may provide the support that instructors need to focus on their teaching objective rather than behavioral concerns.

Question 2:

The schools seems largely ready for a step of this nature, though it would be beneficial to bring in more behavioral advocates with professional training in conflict mediation. Students might benefit from more staff members whose primary interest is behavioral issues. Again, this could alleviate some of the pressure facing teachers with already demanding instructional goals.

Question 3: Primary PBSS targets would be conflict mediation, cooperative engagement and diversity sensitivity training for students and staff alike.
